Cairns S.I.M. Trans has a customised workshop, which is fully equipped to perform most repairs in-house. The workshop houses a dust-free, air-conditioned engine rebuild room. Therefore, heavy labour, which includes rebuilds on engines and transmissions, can be completed throughout the entire year in comfortable working conditions.

Remote work is also part of Cairns S.I.M. Trans' commitment to our customers. From Cairns and Double Island in Far North Queensland, Thursday Island in Torres Strait, Darwin in the Northern Territory, Perth in Western Australia or Noumea in New Caledonia, no place is too far to travel to ensure your vessel is repaired. We aim to help you continue your work and/or pleasure boating with as minimal disruption as possible.

Cairns S.I.M. Trans also has a generator hire service for use in remote locations or in the event of a power outage. We will hire a diesel-powered generator set from 60KVA to 260KVA for short or long-term hire. If you're interested in hiring a generator from us, please forward S.I.M. Cairns S.I.M. Trans also offers a repair service for diesel-powered generators. We can carry out the work on board your vessel or you can bring your portable generator to our workshop.
